Charges At present, there is a £20 charge for materials for each 10 week course. £10 per 5 week course. If attending any other session, the charge will be £3 per time. There is currently no other charge made for tuition.
Main Studio There are no drop in sessions at the present time. Please contact the studio if you wish to access the workshop space and we will endeavour to accommodate you where possible.
Directions to the new Sculpture Workshop The new sculpture workshop is located in Unit 2, 24 Allerdyce Drive, Glasgow, G15 2HJ, near Riverwood Furniture Makers, just behind Morton Rolls Ltd/Sainsbury's, Great Western Business Park. Turn into Allerdyce Road from Duntreath Avenue, at the 1st roundabout, take the 2nd road off, behind Sainsbury’s, then first right, the small business park is on the left. Alternatively from Great Western Road, drive through the business park to the large roundabout, 1st left behind Sainsbury's then 1st right, then left. Traditional Stained Glass Course The classes will be
resuming, weather permiting in January 2011, DRAW is offering three
courses in traditional stained glass design. Please contact the studio
to reserve a place as these classes are of limited size.
Glass Cutting and Leading Not available those with previous experience. This
course, 5 weeks, 3 hours per week,is an introduction to the basic
techniques used to produce a small Leaded Light Panel. Teaching will be
mainly through the medium of practical classes. There will be no design
work in this unit. Students will work from a selection of pre-designed
pattern.
Glass Painting Open to all levels of experience.
5 weeks, 3 hours per week. This course is an introduction to the basic
techniques used in traditional glass painting. Teaching will be mainly
through the medium of practical classes. There will be no design work in
this unit. Students will work on two copies of a medieval painted
figure.
Advanced Stained Glass Open to students who have attended units 1 and 2 or have attended a previous Traditional Stained Glass Course.
10 weeks, 3 hours per week. This course is to enable students to put
into practice the basic techniques learned in the previous two courses.
Teaching will be mainly through the medium of practical classes.
Students will be given a design brief when they sign up for the course
and asked to do some preparatory research and design work. Students will

Introduction to Mosaic Please contact the studio for when the next set of classes will start in 2011. Learn to make a mosaic, learn some of the history and the principles which make the process easier; fun and includes everything you need. Our popular courses have been running for several years, they are friendly and informal taking place within the studios of DRAW. The classes are in small groups of about eight students; ability ranges - from beginner to more advanced - why not learn a new technique, making a slab or an indirect mosaic. Tutor D.L.Davidson
